The Nitro software was born in 2010, in one of the largest Scandinavian Incoming tour operators. It was designed to solve and simplify the everyday problems and tasks of the staff and managers.
We’ve been developing and improving it ever since.
In 2015 Nitro became an independent company and has grown to be present in 25+ countries with over 100 customers and 4 offices in 2 continents.
We see our customers as partners and co-creators of Nitro – we are on a constant search together with you for smart ways to increase the efficiency and workflow in your business.
All our sales and support staff originate from the incoming travel industry and therefore know your issues and how to help you.
Meet the Team
Zorana Ignjatic
A lifelong tourism professional with deep roots in the industry, Zorana focuses on client success and ensuring operators get real value from Nitro. Her multicultural background and tech-forward mindset make her a natural bridge between the travel world and the tools that serve it.
Martin Rybka
Danish-Polish, based in Copenhagen, with a degree in Tourism and many years of experience in travel operations and sales. Having worked across Europe, he brings a strong mix of cultural understanding and operational expertise to Nitro.
Carla Chiericallo
Italian-British, with a degree in Tourism Business Management from the University of Birmingham. Fluent in English, Spanish and French, and working in the travel industry since 2004. Bringing a natural talent for building relationships and a passion for helping tour operators work smarter through technology.
Michael Juul
A Danish Full Stack Developer based in Zealand, with a background in web development and IT systems spanning over a decade. He combines technical depth with a collaborative approach, keeping Nitro running smoothly behind the scenes.
Pascal d’Hermilly
A data scientist born into the travel industry by two tour operators. Working in his parent’s incoming travel business from a young age he soon began to use his computer science degree to develop a system for working in smarter and leaner ways. This passion has developed into Nitro
Thulani Cele
Bringing over 20 years of experience in the travel and hospitality industry. Having built his career with renowned companies he has a deep understanding of luxury travel, safari operations, and tour operator systems, making him a valuable bridge between the travel world and the technology that powers it.
Stan Kozar
With a career spanning both sides of the travel industry, Stan has spent years helping tour operators work more efficiently, first as an operator, then as a long-serving Managing Director at Tourplan. As COO at Nitro, he brings that mix of operator empathy and tech know-how to everything we build. Based in Catalonia, he believes the right tools make a real difference to people running tours on the ground.
Sven Paton
A South African-Norwegian currently based in Copenhagen, studying Data Science at CBS. Having grown up in the tour operating world, he brings a unique perspective on travel and a strong belief in using data to enhance the way people experience it.
Stelios Papaoikonomou
A Greek Full Stack Developer based in Copenhagen, with a background in software engineering and cloud technologies spanning over a decade. He combines technical range with a builder’s mindset, developing the features that take Nitro further.
