Chapter Summary

1. Introduction & Project Setup

Setting up a new tour project in Nitro takes less than a minute. Basic details like destination, travel dates, group language, and assigned agent are configured upfront — giving the project a clear structure before any itinerary work begins.

2. Building the Itinerary Outline

The itinerary is built using Nitro’s preloaded services library, pulling in hotels, transfers, guides, and meals from existing supplier contracts. Manual entries can be added directly for services outside the library, with supplier prices and cancellation policies entered on the spot. Timings are set across all days, completing a structured outline ready for quoting.

3. Generating & Sending the Offer

From the outline, Nitro generates a polished client offer in minutes. The offer is customised with images, day-by-day layouts, a cover page, and a personal message — then sent as both a PDF and an interactive online link the client can open in their browser.

4. Booking & Confirmations

Once the client accepts, the project moves into the booking phase. Booking requests are sent to suppliers directly through Nitro’s portal, which tracks status in real time. Suppliers confirm through the portal, or confirmations received by email can be logged manually — keeping everything in one place.

5. Handling Amendments & Vouchers

When passenger numbers change, Nitro flags affected services automatically and amendment requests can be sent to suppliers in a few clicks. Once confirmed, vouchers are generated in bulk for the group — each containing all the service details suppliers and travellers need.

6. Finalising & Sending Documents

A final itinerary is generated with full timings and arrangements, saved to the project, and emailed to the client alongside the voucher report — delivering a complete travel document package in a single send.
